When the diagnose machine was reconnected,no faults came back on the screen.Įngine management light on the dash and stop light does come on for a second when i accelerate hard but when i cruise at 60 no real missing or jerking exists.Īny ideas where this air is coming in from? ive looked under the van for fuel leaks but it all seems very dry.mileage is only 53000.With a choice of vans to suit a wide range of business needs, Renault's commercial vehicle line-up is certainly worth closer inspection. I also had a diagnose machine plugged into the service connector and it came up with a code that suggested that no3 injector may be faulty. After clearing the memory i road tested my van for a few miles, still with the missing,(more so using more power that if just at cruising speeds). But the problem is still there. If i shake the filter container, more air seems to flow through the clear pipe. ![]() I noticed air in the clear plastic fuel line between the fuel filter and the pump,so i thought the rubber seal may have become brittle and allowing air in so i replaced the fuel filter with new seals,(filter was very dirty). Iv had a slight miss over the last couple of weeks and have been told it could be water getting in under the top plastic engine cover and earthing out the electric connectors on the injectors.Water was present there when i took the cover off and dried everything off and sprayed everything with GT85.Also i sealed the holes on the gutter panel with Tiger Seal to prevent water flowing onto engine, but it still allows water to flow off to the sides onto inner wing areas.but the problem is still there. ![]()
